Pedalo’s, Pizza and Pancakes! – Day-out in London

The three P’s!

Yesterday was a great day to visit Hyde Park…the lovely weather, the incredible hot dog and the pedalo riding! I went on one with my sister. The ride was enjoyable until the weather changed to heavy showers and lightning! We spent 30 minutes on it, soaking up the light from the sun!

Afterwards I was craving pancakes, the only cafe nearby the Serpentine Lake (Hyde Park) was GODIVA! (Heaven in Harrods). My family rushed to the cafe to be seated ASAP, in the mean time we browsed the selection of desserts, and ‘my god’ they looked scrumptious! This is the epitome of chocolate heaven!

Once we were seated we immediately ordered the Godiva milk chocolate crepe and the ‘Devil’s Dog Cake’, which is a chocolate layered cake served with coffee cream! This meal was devoured in a matter of minutes. I am waiting for my next trip so I can order more next time!

My sisters browsed various sections of Harrods while we digested (specifically the shoe department). Hours passed, I mean hours, and then it was dinner time?! Me and my mother had experienced the essence of Naples at Canti Pizzeria before, this time I brought my sisters and ordered a selection of different dishes.

We ordered truffle ‘mac and cheese’ pasta, which is a weird combination but tastes absolutely divine. We also ordered the Arabica pizza, and removed a topping and replaced it with artichokes and poured truffle oil on top for the pièce de résistance, this is by far the best cheat meal I have tasted throughout the summer holidays! If you haven’t already pop over to Harrods and try it out, it will be truly memorable….in a good way of course!

Lunch at Canti Pizzeria

My first blog post has finally arrived!

Today I popped into Harrods to go and visit the Canti Pizzeria located on the 2nd floor.

The restaurant serves various different kinds of pizzas and pastas as well as an array of delicious salads to compliment the meal.

Prices range depending on what toppings are included in any dish, however the food does taste good!

I went with my friend, we ordered 2 dishes, 1 pizza and 1 pasta.  We did this to experience what the main dishes were like. The essence of Naples was certainly there!
